HISTORY of MINERAL TODDY

YOU CAN'T MAKE IT WITHOUT MINERALS
Minerals are absolutely essential for good health. Scientists have established that at least 28 mineral elements are indispensable for normal nutrition. What's more, they're even more important than vitamins! Lacking vitamins, the body can make some use of minerals, but lacking minerals, vitamins are useless!

The shocking fact is that even if you pride yourself on eating a well-balanced diet, you're probably among the 95% of Americans who are lacking in at least one major mineral! The root of this problem lies in a mineral-poor earth.

As far back as 1936, Senate Document No. 264 warned Americans that the soils used to grow fruits and vegetables were seriously deficient in needed minerals. Continuous cropping and the ravages of pollution were even then robbing the soil of the minerals needed to sustain life.

COLLOIDAL "ORGANIC" MINERALS ARE THE ANSWER
Millions of years ago, Mother Nature yielded a nutritional powerhouse. Prehistoric plant life was packed with one of nature's most amazing nutrients---colloidal minerals. Unlike ground-up minerals mined from geological deposits, colloidal minerals are taken from plants that have already assimilated inorganic minerals from rocks and soil. Through a process called photosynthesis, the plants have converted these precious minerals into organic colloidals that are easily absorbable by the human body. Colloidals are microscopic-sized electrically charged particles. When absorbed by the body, colloidals act like a magnet, helping to pull broken-down cells into the bloodstream to be eliminated. Meanwhile, the body is replenished with nourishing life-enriching minerals.

THE AMAZING TODDY STORY
Let's go back in time, approximately 100 million years ago. A time when the air was uncontaminated and the virgin forests were thick with lush vegetation. The soil was so fertile, trees grew up to 25 feet a year. Animals that depended on plant life grew to astonishing proportions. Take the brontosaurus, for example, which was the largest creature in the history of the earth. Bronty, who was strictly a vegetarian, weighed in at a hefty 70 tons, yet his mouth was no larger than that of a horse. Obviously, uncontaminated prehistoric plant life held a fabulous nutritional secret. Today we are quite sure that secret is colloidal minerals of plant origin.

In the millions of years that followed, the earth went through enormous physical changes. Silt, sand and volcanic lava flows compressed a portion of this prehistoric plant matter and sealed it into a time capsule. This preserved time capsule remained under thousands of feet of rock formations until the forces of Mother Nature lifted it up to become part of a mountain range. This gift from Mother Nature remained undiscovered until 1925.
An ailing old prospector in the mountains of central Utah was given water with 'healing powers' by an elder Chief of the Paiute Indians. Upon recovering, the prospector began to notice that he was feeling more energetic than he had in a long time. It didn't take him long to realize that the mountain stream water he was drinking might hold special qualities. Realizing that his discovery might be as good as gold, he painstakingly following Chief Soaring Eagle to the source of the stream and came to a prehistoric plant deposit, a Mother Lode of colloidal minerals. Eureka! He had found the source of the world's oldest nutritional product!
